Better Days Ahead!
Hello friend—it’s been awhile.
Nearly twelve months have passed since our season was cut short by the pandemic. And I don’t need to tell you that this has been a devastating year.
But even during the worst days of 2020, one thing has remained the same—the urgent need to tell our stories.
Since January’s “Gratitude” event at Lincoln Center, we’ve missed the sense of community of our live events—and we’ve missed you, too. Now, as we head into the final days of the year, I want to share with you some details of our upcoming season and ask if we can count on your support.
Until we can gather safely again in theaters, I want you to know we’re focused on digital opportunities to promote writers in 2021—in potential collaborations with Carnegie Hall and the prestigious Bellevue Literary Revue, and in the Read650 broadcast and podcast currently in development. Your investment in Read650 can help us transform these plans into reality.
Whether you’re a writer, a reader, or a listener, you are a key part of our community and without you, our work isn’t possible. Charitable, tax-deductible contributions from friends like you help keep our nonprofit organization running, and enable us to continue promoting writers.
As this year draws to a close, please know how grateful we are for your continued support of writers—an investment that makes everything we do possible.
We’re excited about the future. And we’re excited to share it with you.
With gratitude,
Edward McCann, Founder, Read650.org
