Writers Read and City Winery NYC will present a dozen talented writers on stage performing original, thought-provoking, five-minute personal stories of change.

With sponsor support from the New York State Writers Institute, we’re thrilled to partner again with Carnegie Hall for their 2024 spring festival, “Fall of the Weimar Republic: Dancing on the Precipice.”  Carnegie Hall’s programming will explore the period in Germany between the World Wars—a time of incredible creative expression that was decimated with the rise of Hitler and the near-destruction of democracy.
