A photograph freezes a moment in time, but some images stay with us long after the moment has passed, evolving as we do, sparking memories and emotions that grow deeper with time. 

Think about a photograph you keep returning to, whether physically in your environment or mentally in your mind’s eye. Is it from a family album, a book, or something you saw in a museum? Were you the one behind the camera or in the frame? What is it about this photo that draws you in? Is it the location? A figure in the foreground, or something obscured in the shadows?  Write a 650-word snapshot about that memorable photograph and the story behind the image . . . or the one that’s grown out of it.
